Sinds de jaarwisseling is er een aantal malen bof geconstateerd onder Delftse studenten. Wanneer je onvoldoende gevaccineerd bent is de kans op besmetting groter. In de bijlage staan een aantal vragen en antwoorden om je van de juiste informatie te voorzien over deze infectieziekte. Lees verder.

Since the beginning of this year the mumps virus has been circulating among students in Delft. We would like to inform you about the disease.

Also we have provided a fact sheet about the vaccination programmes in the world. You can read further about the probability of you having received vaccination in your youth or about you having natural immunity. Most non-european students are very likely to have natural immunity and so they have very little risk of contracting a mumps infection.
